Dr. Emily Courville

Dr. Courville serves as an Associate Veterinarian and Medical Director at Carson Animal Hospital. She is originally from Rayne, Louisiana and earned both her undergraduate and veterinary degrees from Louisiana State University. Following graduation, she completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Her clinical interests encompass neurology, ophthalmology, internal medicine, and surgery. She performs various soft tissue and orthopedic procedures with an emphasis on individualized, evidence-based patient care. Outside the practice, she enjoys reading, traveling, and caring for her three dogs: Luca (Border Collie), Florence (Golden Retriever), and Moses (Shih Tzu).
