At Carson Animal Hospital, we are pleased to expand our surgical services to include the Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) procedure. TPLO is a specialized surgery designed to stabilize the knee joint in dogs suffering from a ruptured Cranial Cruciate Ligament (CrCL)—the canine equivalent of the ACL in humans. This condition can cause pain, mobility issues, and long-term joint instability, but TPLO has been shown to provide significant improvement, allowing dogs to return to their regular activities.
